HUMAN BODY- WHAT KEEPS US HEALTHY

A lot of thing can keep us healthy: Sleep, Exercise, Fresh Air, Friends, Healthy Food. Eating healthy food means not eating too much and not eating the same thing always. Our food is composed of three components: fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Carbohydrates like sugar and starch, are present in potatoes. We also need vitamins and minerals, such as salt or calcium, to stay healthy. We need to brush our teeth often and keep ourselves clean to keep away the bacteria and remain healthy.

Why are vitamins necessary in diet?

Vitamins assist the body in utilizing the nutrients. They are not suppliers of energy like fats or carbohydrates, but help the body in absorbing minerals such as calcium, magnesium, or sodium contained in salt and transporting them to required places. Vitamins also help in the correct functioning of enzymes that help convert food into components useful for the body. Since the body cannot synthesize vitamins, they need to be supplied from outside.

What happens when we eat too much?

If we eat more than what we really need, our body converts the excess food into fat and we become bulky and heavy. The skeleton and joints are not designed to carry too much continuous load; hence, at some point of time the back and joints begin to ache. Any kind of fast movement becomes tiring and strenuous for the heart and the circulatory system. We got out of breathe very easily.

Fat people are often the butt of people's jokes. Although they can get in shape again through training and eating healthy.

Why must we brush our teeth every day?

When we eat, small particles of food get stuck between the teeth, giving rise to bacteria. They reproduce and create dental problems. At first, these are only holes in the enamel of the teeth, but as they become deeper they can be very painful. Chewing becomes difficult with bad teeth, and the jaw look deformed if some teeth are missing. If the bacteria are not removed, they can enter your body through the mouth.

The writings of a Greek doctor Hippocrates are a proof that the connection between hygiene and disease was known 3000 years ago.

How can we protect ourselves against bacteria?

We do not need to protect ourselves against all bacteria. Some live inside our body and are even very important to us, such as the intestinal bacteria. We fall sick only if there are too many bacteria or some harmful bacteria unknown to the body comes from outside. These can happen easily via cuts and bruises on the skin or when our bodies are week.

Antibiotics (but now a days many bacteria have already become 'resistant ' to them) help against bacterial infections. The best way to remain healthy is to strengthen our own immune system. A diet rich in vitamins, i.e., fruits and vegetables and exercise in fresh air helps in keeping us fit.

Is playing sports healthy?

#OF COURSE# Why the heck I am saying this??? Is it necessary to write on this??

You know the answer very well. Now a days children's are busy on mobile, laptops, TV etc,. But it is very necessary to play. Playing a sport is healthy because it trains the muscle, improves blood circulation, and increase the supply of oxygen to the body cells. Improved oxygen supply to the brain improves concentration and physical movements excites the nerve paths in the brain.

We therefore become mentally more efficient. Sometimes played sports may cause excessive strain on the body, but leisure sport (Ludo, Chess, Carrom) that are fun can strengthen our immune system and are necessary for our well being.

DID YOU KNOW THAT...

➤ 100 gm of chocolate contain 30 gm of fat? And 100 gm of potato chips have 40 gm of pure fat.

➤ the word vitamin contains Latin word 'vita' which means life.

➤ there are around 40 species of bacteria in the mouth, which protects the mouth cavity from diseases?

Our Environment- Which Animal Live In The Steppes & The Savannas

The steppes and the savannas are the great grasslands of the earth. Savanna grasslands lie between the tropical rainforest and the deserts in the northern as well as the southern hemisphere. Trees like the acacia and the water storing baobab grow in the savannas. In addition to these plants, gnus, giraffes and antelopes are found here. countless flamingos stand in the sea and one can see bald-headed vultures in the sky. In contrast, the steppe grasslands like the pampas of South America and prairies of North America are found in the middle of the continents. They are dry, devoid of trees, and cold in winter. Do Bison still exist in the prairie? Today there are around 4000,000 bison in the Northamerica steppes, but they had almost become extinct about 120 years ago. At that time the few remaining animals were transferred to the Yellowstone National Park in North America to protect them.  Bison look docile Bison are nomadic grazers and are usually peaceful, unconcerne

Difference Between Asteroids,Comets and Meteors?

Hello Everyone! This would be my first post as a blogger and I am very much thrilled to write something that I know well (I guess??). Eventually all my feature blogs will come from; reading books, blogs, newspaper, magazines, novels, papers etc. So some of you may find my information already read by or something like that. But I will try to give you some extra knowledge/information that you may find different. now a days there are so many ways to collect information, but someone can find it difficult to explore all the database. Here I will try my best to give you information that will benefit you in any aspect of life. One reason for taking this topic was, few days ago I and my child witness ( I don't know how many of you watch that??) natures magical phenomenon in sky: The Meteor Shower. My child was very frightened to see that because he thought that if there is shower/fire like event in the sky, so we all will be dead or get vanished like dinosaurs, a
